Management education and management practice are two sides of the same coin. Training the young minds in practices of management and generating most accepted expressions of business phenomenon is the primary tasks of management academia. This can be done very clear and in depth understanding of management practice. Thus in fact management education and management practice are complimentary to each other.

As management education and management practice are complementary to each other there shall be literature to cater the needs of both the domain. This was the idea that culminated in designing of a journal named as “Bauddhik”. Bauddhik is an effort to create literature for management practioners by management educators by offering state of art research and for management educators by management practioners by offering details of activities or practices adopted in recent times by Indian corporate.

Bauddhik has one more objective. That is to promote research in management institutions which can be used by industry. Bauddhik is expected to create an atmosphere of logical enquiry about business phenomenon in management academia and a culture of thought sharing in management practicing circles..

On this occasion I want to place on record the encouragement and support offered by Mr. Sumeet Maru chairman of CHIMC. This effort would not have taken present shape without Herculean efforts of Dr. Manmeet Singh, Prof. Aniruddha Durafe, and Mr. Ajay Sonawane. Hopefully further publications will live up to the expectations and Bauddhik will offer best in class solutions to all the needs.
